* FRR Consulting's WWWFinder
Locating the Obscure but Vital   (... if you need to know it, we can find it.)

     WWWFinder is a Customized, Premium, Strategic Information Tool designed for those who want to KNOW MORE ... FASTER. At FRR Consultants, we have considerable expertise in the use of Information Technology and the application of automated research tools. We understand and utilize the most expedient methods of accessing information and we know how to make that information available to you quickly and in an easy to use form. Some of the tools we use might cost you many thousands per year to acquire and maintain them internally ... and yet, you may have only an occasional need for just a fraction of the information available. Our WWWFinder service, used on an "as needed" basis, is designed to save you effort, time, and money.

     Our WWWFinder methodology is simple and straightforward. Just fill out the following on-line form with an initial request outlining your information need. Tell us (specifically as you can) what is needed to be known and when you need to know it. Depending on the complexity and urgency of your request, one of our consultants will contact you with a time/cost estimate and payment method. Once we have your approval, work starts immediately.

Some Recent, Real-Life Examples of WWWFinder in action:

     The Simplest Example is one in which a single fact is sought or a specific, yes/no answer is needed ... fast and at minimal cost. We recently had a client who was very interested in participating in a Private Placement Offer. During a conversation with the lead entrepreneur, the client had been told that a senior executive (named in the offer) was on the board of directors of a leading public company. With a $100,000 investment hanging in the balance, our client simply wanted us to determine that this individual was, or was not, on the board of said public company. During the same day, (sourced within our one-hour minimum), the assigned FRR Consultant had prepared a report and faxed it directly to the prospective investor's desk. We'll leave it to your imagination as to the answer we provided; suffice it to say that the investor backed away. By the way, those of you familiar with EDGAR may know where we found the information. Our companion service, WWWHelper, is designed to assist businesses and individuals in understanding and using Information Technology ... and using resources like EDGAR.

     A Moderate Example would be the request we filled recently for a licensed novelty manufacturing company. In order to help them complete a new Business Expansion Plan for their bankers, they asked for a complete report on the size and financial status of all their direct competition. Within two days, (and working within a six-hour search period), we accessed information on a dozen firms, boiled that down to the five most important competitors, and provided a detailed analysis of each for their Plan. The Bankers were impressed (an understatement), and were convinced that they (our client) were totally on top of the competition. We were pleased, too.

     Extreme Examples usually fall into the category of detailed, highly specific market research projects. Recently, the FRR Team was called upon to analyze the nationwide sales of a specific prescription asthma drug throughout the entire managed care industry in order to pinpoint major payors who were under-utilizing or improperly utilizing an important cost-saving protocol. This required three months of creative data acquisition, customized database manipulation and exhaustive market research, resulting in an 1,100 page, landmark report for one of the world's leading pharmaceutical manufacturers. In another case, we produced a customized report on "The Consumption of Petrochemical Accelerators in Southeast Asia." This project demanded several weeks of market research and required searching several hundred documents and press releases. ... (see also IVMA)
